We are pleased to announce that AshTrans® along with our Host Partner TITAN, will be visiting Athens on October 5–6, 2026, for its annual European meeting. This year’s event will focus on the provision of fly ash and additional supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), bringing together industry leaders from across Europe and beyond.

Hosted at the Athens Marriott Hotel, the event will take place in one of Europe’s most historic and dynamic cities—renowned for its rich cultural heritage, strategic location, and growing role in regional trade and infrastructure. Over two days, attendees will benefit from a highly engaging environment for networking, discussion, and strategic insight into the evolving SCM market.

The agenda will include key market reports on the availability of fly ash in Europe, updates on logistics and cross-border movement, and presentations on harvesting projects focused on recovering and repurposing ash from legacy sources. These sessions are designed to provide practical knowledge and foster collaboration among stakeholders navigating the changing European SCM landscape.

The AshTrans conference was first held in Copenhagen in September 2013, created to fill a gap in the market by focusing on the commercial and logistical aspects of the coal ash supply chain. Unlike existing technical forums such as EuroCoalAsh and WOCA, AshTrans was designed as a dedicated platform for business leaders across the power by-product industry to connect, network, and conduct commercial discussions.

As Europe’s first business-focused conference for the ash sector, AshTrans has played a key role in linking ash producers with users in the cement and concrete industries, as well as traders, transport and shipping companies, and equipment providers.
