About the Event
INTERCEM are delighted to announce that our flagship conference, INTERCEM 2022, will take place in Istanbul, in Association with Turkish Cement, from 19th -21st September – as the world’s leading independent cement industry conference returns to the banks of to Bosphorus for the first time since 2019. Our specially invited international speaker panel will look across the cement sector and up and down the supply chain - sharing the latest data, insight and analysis on production and raw materials costs, decarbonisation, freight and logistics, CBAM and emissions trading, supply/demand forecasts and much more. While outside the conference the extensive exhibition and unsurpassed networking opportunities mean that INTERCEM 2022 is not to be missed! INTERCEM 2022 follows a record attendance at INTERCEM Dubai in March - which attracted 450 delegates from almost 50 countries – as executives from across the globe are keen to meet, do business and once again following two years of travel restrictions and interaction on Zoom and Teams. Turkey is one of the world’s leading cement, clinker and cementitious materials exporting countries, with Turkish materials used in projects across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. As attention turns to fixing contracts for 2023, Istanbul is the perfect location to meet with colleagues from all across the globe. The city is always one of the most popular destinations with INTERCEM attendees, having hosted the conference on six previous occasions. INTERCEM 2022 is organised in Association with Turkish Cement and supported and attended by Turkish and international cement manufacturers and traders.
